A group pickup at Delhi airport goes smoothly when the driver has three things before you fly: the flight number, how many people are coming, and roughly how many big suitcases. The flight number tells us the terminal and the landing time; the headcount and the bags tell us the whole group fits in one van. On the day, all that is left is a phone that works the moment you land.

Before you fly: what to send us

  • The flight number and date, and the terminal printed on the ticket.
  • How many people, children and lap infants counted separately.
  • How many large suitcases, and anything awkward: a wheelchair, a pram, golf bags, cartons.
  • A number that will work on landing — an Indian SIM, or WhatsApp on roaming — for one person in the group.
  • Where you are going: a hotel address, a home, or the first stop of a road trip.

Terminal 1, 2 or 3

Delhi's international flights use Terminal 3, which also takes domestic flights; Terminals 1 and 2 are domestic only. Within the domestic airlines, the terminal can change with the flight number, so the ticket is the authority, not habit — a group that flew in to Terminal 1 last year may land at Terminal 3 this time.

Coming out together

A group comes out slower than a couple: sixteen people clear immigration at different speeds and their bags arrive on the belt over several minutes. Keep everyone inside until the last bag is on a trolley, then message the driver. One person walking out ahead of the rest means the van stands waiting at the pickup point while the group is still at the belt.

Parking, and why the flight number matters

Delhi airport charges a commercial vehicle for parking from the moment it enters, with no free period. Its published rates for commercial vehicles:

Time parkedCharge
Up to 30 minutes₹270
30 minutes – 1 hour₹400
1 – 2 hours₹500
2 – 3 hours₹600
3 – 4 hours₹700
4 – 24 hours₹800

So timing matters: a van that drives in at the scheduled time for a flight running two hours late has its parking running for those two hours. If the flight is delayed, message the new time on WhatsApp and the pickup moves with it. Whether the parking is inside the fare is written in your quote.

When the flight is late or changes

If the flight is delayed, send the new landing time on WhatsApp as soon as the airline gives it; if the airline moves the group to another flight, send the new flight number. How long the driver waits after landing without extra charge is stated in your quote.

Flying out: the drop

For a departure we work back from the time your airline closes check-in, printed on the booking, and add the drive from your pickup address at that hour of the day. Tell us the flight number and the terminal, and the van leaves you at that terminal's departures.

Questions people ask

You send the flight number before you fly; when the group has its bags, message or call the driver on the number we give you, and the driver tells you where the van is waiting.

The van seats sixteen. Bags take room too, so tell us how many large suitcases the group has when you ask; if they will not all fit, we tell you then, not at the airport.

Work back from the check-in closing time on your booking and add the drive from your address at that hour. Send us the flight and we suggest the pickup time.

Commercial vehicles pay parking from the moment they enter, from ₹270 for up to 30 minutes. Your quote says whether that is included.
