The trips that fit a weekend from Delhi NCR are the ones close enough to drive there and back in two days: Agra, Mathura and Vrindavan, Jaipur, Haridwar and Rishikesh, and Chandigarh. Agra is a day trip, about 230 km each way on the Yamuna Expressway; Jaipur and Haridwar suit two days. For a group, one van means one departure time, one set of stops, and nobody waiting at a dhaba for the car that took a wrong turn.

Agra in a day

The Yamuna Expressway makes Agra the one trip that comfortably fits a single day: leave early, spend the middle of the day at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, and be home the same night. Plan it for any day but Friday — the Taj Mahal is closed to visitors on Fridays. From Noida the expressway starts on your doorstep, about 200 km to Agra.

Mathura and Vrindavan

Mathura lies on the same expressway, about 147 km from Noida, and Vrindavan sits beside it, so the two make one day's darshan. A group can also take them in on the way to Agra and come back the same evening.

Mathura147 kmabout 2–2½ hours

Jaipur over two days

Jaipur is about 280 km from Delhi, 5–6 hours on the road, which makes a day trip mostly driving. Over a weekend the group gets a full day in the city between the two drives.

Haridwar and Rishikesh

Haridwar is about 225 km from Delhi by way of Meerut, and Rishikesh a short drive beyond it. Arrive in Haridwar in time for the evening Ganga aarti at Har Ki Pauri, stay the night, and spend the next day in Rishikesh before the drive home. From Ghaziabad the road skips Delhi altogether: about 205 km to Haridwar by the Delhi–Meerut Expressway.

Leaving early, coming back late

Weekend traffic out of Delhi builds through Saturday morning, so the group that leaves at first light is on the expressway before it starts. If the group lives across NCR, list every pickup address: one van can collect from Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi on the way out and drop everyone home on the way back.
