Who this is for: Friends, extended families, neighbourhood societies, alumni batches and clubs travelling 10 to 50 together.

A group holiday is not the same holiday bought several times over. The moment ten people share a coach, a guide and a block of entry tickets, the arithmetic changes: the costs that used to sit on one couple now divide across everybody, and the things that never divided — the room, the visa, the airfare — become the whole of what you pay. That is why a group of twenty rarely pays half of what two people pay, and why anyone quoting you a flat "group discount" percentage has not looked at your itinerary.

What we actually do with a group is protect the two hours a day that decide whether people enjoyed themselves. A coach that waits rather than a taxi queue that does not exist at 9am. Entry tickets bought before you land so nobody stands in the Sentosa line twice. And a written plan for the afternoon when half the group wants Universal Studios and the other half wants Orchard Road, because on a ten-day-old itinerary that split is the argument, not the sightseeing.

Minimum group size

Group pricing starts at 10 travellers. Smaller parties are quoted too, but the price behaves like a private trip.

Free places

One free place for every 20 paying travellers, applied to the land cost. Airfare and visa are not included in it.

Who runs it

Our own office in Singapore — the contracts, the coaches and the coordinator are ours, not a subcontract booked from elsewhere.

What changes as the group grows

Group size Transport Rooms On the ground
10 – 15 travellers One 16-seat minibus, luggage in the back row. Small enough to stop where a coach cannot. Five to eight rooms, taken at normal rates — no block booking needed, so you can still change your dates late. One guide handles the entire group. Free afternoons work: people can split up and meet at the hotel.
16 – 25 travellers A 25-seat coach. Seat rotation matters now — the back of a coach is a different holiday from the front. A rooming list, submitted before we confirm. Twin and triple mixed; who shares with whom is your call, not ours. One tour manager travelling with you, plus local guides at the attractions that need them.
26 – 49 travellers A 45-seat coach, or two smaller ones if your itinerary has narrow pick-ups. Departure times become fixed. Rooms held on allotment. Restaurants have to be told numbers in advance — a group of 40 cannot walk into a hawker centre together at 1pm. Two free places at this size. Meals move to set menus or buffets so nobody waits 50 minutes for a bill.

What the package includes

  • Return airport transfers in Singapore on arrival and departure, sized for the whole group and its luggage
  • Hotel rooms on twin or triple sharing, with the rooming list you give us
  • Daily breakfast, and Indian meals where the itinerary keeps you out of the hotel
  • A private coach for sightseeing days, held for the group rather than shared with strangers
  • Attraction entries booked ahead — Sentosa, Gardens by the Bay, the river cruise and whatever else your plan names
  • One free place for every 20 paying travellers, applied to the land cost
  • A Singapore number that a real person answers for the length of your trip

What it does not

  • International airfare, unless you ask us to quote flights with the package
  • Singapore visa fees, though we prepare and file the group application
  • Anything personal — laundry, minibar, tips, the shopping that Orchard Road is for
  • Meals not named in the itinerary, so the group can eat where it wants on free evenings
  • Travel insurance, which we recommend and can arrange but do not bundle silently

What actually moves the per-person price

How the rooms are shared

This moves the number more than the group size does. Three adults in a room is roughly a third off the accommodation line each; two is the standard; anyone who wants a room to themselves pays close to double. Decide this before asking for a quote, or you are comparing quotes built on different assumptions.

When you travel

Singapore hotel rates swing hard around the Formula 1 weekend, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and the Indian school holidays in May and June. The same itinerary in late July can cost noticeably less than the first week of June, and a group has more to gain from moving its dates than a couple does.

How many hours the coach is held

A coach is priced by the day, not by the kilometre. Four attractions in one day costs the same transport as two; the saving comes from cutting a coach day entirely, usually by leaving one day free in the city where the MRT does the work.

How many meals you want included

Adding lunch and dinner to every day is the easiest way to raise a per-person price without anybody feeling richer for it. Most groups do better with breakfast plus dinner and free lunches, so people eat what they want at the attraction they are standing in.

Planning calendar

8 – 10 weeks before Tell us the size, the rough dates and the budget per person. You get a costed itinerary, not a brochure.
6 weeks before Confirm the itinerary and pay the deposit. Hotels and coaches are held from this point, which is what stops a price moving under you.
4 weeks before Rooming list and passport copies. The visa application goes in as one group file.
2 weeks before Final numbers, final payment, and the day-by-day pack with timings and the Singapore contact number.

Why book Singapore with us

We are in Singapore

Not a reseller booking through someone else. Our office, our contracts and our people are on the ground where your holiday happens.

Our own transfers

Airport pickups run on our own vehicles with our own drivers, so a delayed flight is our problem to solve rather than a third party's.

Costed, not guessed

You get an itemised quote — hotels, transfers, tickets and the visa — before you pay anything, with the airfare priced for your own departure city.

Licensed travel agent

Singapore Tourism Board Licence No. TA03365N, held by Travel DMC Pte. Ltd.. Check it on STB's public register before you pay.

Questions groups ask us

Ten travellers. Below that we still quote you gladly, but the pricing behaves like a private trip because the coach and the guide are being paid for by fewer people. Between 10 and 15 the saving is real but modest; it grows fastest between 20 and 40.

Yes — one free place for every 20 paying travellers, applied to the land portion. A group of 20 travels with one person paying nothing on the ground, 40 with two. Airfare and visa are not part of the free place; nobody in this market gives those away, and a quote that says otherwise has hidden the cost somewhere else.

Yes. Most groups nominate one coordinator we deal with, then send payments from several accounts against one booking reference. What we cannot do is hold the booking while half the group decides — the deposit is what holds it.

It is, and it is common. We book the extra nights at the same hotel, arrange the separate airport transfer, and keep those travellers on the group itinerary for the days they overlap. It is quoted as an add-on so the rest of the group is not paying for it.

In Singapore, usually two beds and a rollaway, and the room is not much bigger than a twin. Singapore hotel rooms are small by Indian standards. Three adults who do not know each other well will not enjoy it; a family of three, or a parent with two children, is fine. We will tell you which hotels have genuine triples with three real beds.

From 16 travellers up, a tour manager travels with the group for the whole trip. Below that you get a guide on sightseeing days and a Singapore number that is answered by a person, not a queue. Either way the people you deal with are in Singapore, not routing your problem back to India.

No. Singapore handles this better than most destinations — Little India alone has more good vegetarian restaurants than most Indian cities do. We tell restaurants the split in advance so both meals arrive together, and Jain meals are arranged with notice.

Tell us as early as you can. Above the size band boundaries it usually changes nothing. If the drop takes the group under 10, or under a coach size, the per-person price is recalculated and we show you exactly which line moved. Cancellation terms are written into your confirmation before you pay, not quoted afterwards.
