About Sentosa Fun Discovery Pass
The Fun Discovery Pass is Sentosa's own pass, and it does not work like a normal ticket. You are not buying entry to one attraction — you are buying tokens, 60, 95 or 130 of them, and then spending those tokens across more than 80 attractions, rides, activities, food kiosks and souvenir shops on the island. Sentosa publishes the three packs at S$60, S$90 and S$120. Every experience carries a token price, and you decide on the day where the tokens go.
Some token prices from Sentosa's April 2026 list, so you can do the maths before you buy: the Singapore Cable Car SkyPass round trip is 30 tokens, SkyHelix Sentosa is 15, Wings of Time is 20, the Sentosa Island Bus Tour is 20, Madame Tussauds is 30 on a standard ticket and 20 on the off-peak entry sold daily from 10am to 1pm, Singapore Oceanarium is 55 for an adult and 40 for a child, Sentosa 4D AdventureLand is 25 for any two rides, HydroDash is 25 for an hour, the Albatross hop-on hop-off speedboat is 30 for a day of unlimited rides, and an ice cream or a hot dog at Central Beach Bazaar is 5. A family of four with 130 tokens can realistically fit the cable car, one big-ticket attraction and an evening show into a day.
The pass is valid for 180 days from the date of purchase, so you do not have to spend it all on one trip. One pass can also be shared by more than one person — the only rule is that the full value of a single product must come off the same pass, so two people cannot split one 30-token cable car ride across two passes. Tokens you do not use are not refunded and cannot be exchanged, so buy the pack you will actually finish and top up if you run short: any Sentosa Guest Services counter sells 5 more tokens for S$5. You can check what is left, and when it expires, at sentosa.com.sg/check-token-balance.
There is nothing to collect on arrival. The pass is a QR code — flash it at the attraction and the tokens are deducted. Most places need no booking at all: Adventure Cove Waterpark, Singapore Oceanarium, Madame Tussauds, HydroDash and UltraGolf all let you walk up to their own ticket counter and exchange the pass there. A few are stricter. For the Singapore Cable Car and Wings of Time you must exchange the pass for an admission ticket at a Singapore Cable Car ticketing counter before 8pm. Nestopia needs to be pre-booked. AltitudeX indoor skydiving needs at least two working days' notice by email, and deducts the tokens when it confirms your slot. Sentosa also asks guests to reserve a slot at sentosa.com.sg/sentosareservation before visiting, because attractions are subject to availability.
Getting there is separate from the pass. The Sentosa Express train from level 3 of VivoCity costs S$4 per entry and is free for rides on the island and on the way out; walking in over the Sentosa Boardwalk is free; bus 123 from Orchard or Tiong Bahru runs into the island around the clock; and taxis, cars and coaches pay an island admission charge that changes with the time of day. Sentosa states plainly that the price of the pass excludes island admission and transport fares — although the pass currently carries a limited-time benefit of two free island admission entries, valid for entry through the Sentosa Express or the gantry. Once you are on the island, the Sentosa Express between the four stations, the island bus routes and the beach shuttle move you around without spending tokens.
One thing to be clear about before you book: Universal Studios Singapore is not on the Fun Discovery Pass token list, and neither is Skyline Luge. If either of those is the reason you are going to Sentosa, buy that ticket separately and treat the pass as what fills the rest of the day. The pass also cannot be combined with another pass or promotion, and F&B and retail redemptions depend on stock on the day.
It suits a family or a group with a full day or two on Sentosa, travellers who would rather decide on the spot than commit to a fixed itinerary, and anyone who wants Sentosa's smaller attractions — the 4D rides, the beach clubs, the speedboat, the perfume workshop — without buying six separate tickets. It suits a visitor doing one big attraction and leaving less well: for that, a single ticket is cheaper.
